Due to various circumstances I have been privileged to travel to may parts of the world. But whatever the circumstances, either due to where I lived or in the course of my work I tried to take my camera with me. I have used many types of cameras over the last 70 odd years and have seen many changes. Each change brings new challenges for the photographer. I have also been invoved in many aspects of photography so you will see images from differerent backgrounds .

As part of the class assignment we were asked to photograph several couples. I was fortunate to have William and Tracy. A charming couple who plan to get married on June 30.

Karen and Ernie – Wedding

I was asked to photograph my wife’s niece in 2004. I decided to cover the shoot with my Nikon D 100 with a backup using my F-1oo. It turned out that the quality of the digital images were excellent. The following are a small sample of the wedding. Besides the album which I put together an audio-visual DVD which was a tremendous hit with the couple and the parents. The audio-visual presentation was made using ProShow Gold.

I like taking images of the bride and others getting ready. In this case I had to work in a confined space. I used a Sigma 15 – 30 zoom and bounced the light off the ceilinged

I had not had a chance to visit the site for the formal photographs. Unfortunately the shoot took place in the middle of the day and the lighting was not the best. However with careful exposure with the fill in flash I managed to record all the dress details as well as the Ernie’s dark suit.
